I'm Amanda and I’m a serial hobbyist. Whether it’s embroidery, sewing, punch needle, pottery, stained glass, paper crafting, laser crafting, woodworking…the list could go on forever. I just love making stuff. It’s in my DNA.

I wanted to figure out how to turn my passion for making into reliable income without hustling. (Because hustling is exhausting and I don’t have time for that.)

So I pulled up my sleeves and got to work. I researched, I designed, I tested. I started getting sales. I learned from my customers, fixed the things they complained about, honored their requests, and delivered exceptional customer service.

In my first year, I sold $5,510 worth of products on Etsy.

Then I developed strategic systems that would help me sell and deliver my products to customers with less involvement from me.

These systems resulted in $468,643 in sales (with a 30% profit margin) in my second full year of business (95% from my own website).

 And I did this without:

• constantly posting on social media
• making new products all the time
• managing a facebook group
• or even showing my face

Because I designed a product based on research (not creative whim), built systems to help me sell it, and delivered exceptional customer service. 

But here’s what really mattered:

Since I was selling downloadable patterns—products I created once and were delivered automatically with each purchase—I kept earning even when I wasn’t "working".

I got paid:

• to watch movies with my kids when they were home sick
• to volunteer at their school when they wanted me to
• to play pickleball while everyone else was at work
• and even while traveling with my family 

But it wasn't luck.

I found a crafting category ripe with eager buyers.

I created original templates that helped my customers make something meaningful.

And I delivered my products in a way that turned curious customers into raving fans.
